Jewett on vuosina 1922-1926 valmistettu automerkki. Valmistaja oli Paige-Detroit Motor Car Company, joka valmisti Paige-merkkisiä ylellisiä autoja vuosina 1908-1927. Jewett oli Paigen halvempi merkki ja se sai nimensä Paigen toimitusjohtajalta Harry M. Jewettiltä.

Kaikissa malleissa oli kuusisylinterinen moottori.

Vuosien 1922-25 Jewett Six-mallissa oli kuusisylinterinen moottori teholtaan 50 hv (37 kW). R6-moottorin iskutilavuus on 4078 cm³ ja sylinterin mitat ovat 82,55 × 127 mm. Akseliväli oli 284 senttiä. Monia korimalleja, joista useimpiin mahtui 5 ihmistä, joihinkin taas 2-4 henkeä.

1926-1927 Jewett New-Day-mallissa oli kuusisylinterinen Continentalin moottori. R6-moottorin iskutilavuus on 2774 cm³ ja teho 40 hv (30 kW). Sylinterin mitat ovat 69,85 × 120,65 mm.

Graham Brothers osti Paigen kesäkuun 10, 1927. Paige-merkki lakkautettiin ja autot myytiin Graham-Paige-merkkisinä. Jewettin valmistus oli loppunut joulukuussa 1926.

Suomessa[muokkaa]

Jewett-autoja tuotiin myös Suomeen, 1926 maahantuoja oli Autola Oy [1]. Maahantuoja oli insinööri E. W. Winberg Tampereella, joka toi Suomeen sekä Jewett että Paige-autoja.

Vuonna 1928 (31.12.1928) Suomen ajoneuvorekisterissä oli 44 Jewett henkilöautoa [2].
